an initial face-to-face meeting due to geographic proximity, and much of our
interaction is going to be via electronic mail or telephone calls, we have to be
very careful to capture the correct business direction, objectives, and
opportunity prior beginning actual work on a project. The discovery process
attempts to identify important components of the client project through:

- Analysis of existing resources, process, and business methods
- Review of project objectives
- Identification and analysis of all project deliverables
This process usually
takes several days, and could result in both telephone interviews and exchange
of fax, files, and electronic mail. In some cases the discovery process may
actually identify resources or opportunities within the existing client
organization that may significant reduce the cost or scope of their project.
